With a new to us F250 and a husband on deployment, it was not surprising that the check engine light came on. I was a little stressed out, as we have never owned a diesel truck before. I didn't have to worry! Dave and the guys at the Oak Harbor store took great care of my truck and took the time to explain what was going on and how to fix it. The kids and I are back on the road with the horses in tow. We will definitely be bringing our vehicles to Gateway, and recommending Gateway to anyone needing work done on their vehicle, from now on. You guys did my oil change, checked for all the other stuff and were quick and knowledgeable as usual. But when I mentioned a wacky wiring issue and you tried to find the problem you couldn't find it. Not to worry though, because whatever you did do seemed to solve the problem...so thank you!! If it gets crazy again of course I'll bring it to you but for now I'm just thrilled my wipers don't go off on every right turn.

We first brought our 1995 Ford Aerostar to Gateway for transmission work. It had not been run for around 7 months. Gateway was very thorough, (and even removed a nest from a non-working vent!) and we were able to drive it again. We again returned to Gateway when the same vehicle blew a headgasket. It did not matter that the Aerostar was 17 yrs. old, we were treated with respect (and humor) and our Aerostar lives again! We live 45 miles away from Gateway, but would return there again. We highly recommend their work.

My Wife first took our van in for transmission service while I was out of the country for work. She felt very comfortable and well taken care of. In all of our dealings, Dave has been very open and upfront with us regarding what he felt was needed, or not needed, regarding our van, including with an incident when our Son ran over a curb, damaging the transmission pan. Dave and his business are definite assets to our community. That is why we have recommended his shop to several folks. Thanks Dave.
