Mount Vernon, Oak Harbor & Sedro-Woolley Auto Repair

I called 3 different shops to get an appt for an oil change. Sedro Woolley Gateway Automotive got me in w/in the same week i called!! Great scheduling guys!! I almost cancelled my appointment last night, and then again when I woke up this morning (due to losing my brother in law unexpectedly and not feeling up for the 930am appointment) ... but, I KNEW i had to get my oil changed if I was going to be driving to Providence to support my sister and not damage my car. The name on the building is Vollans Automotive. This was the correct spot, just a different name. Tim (I'm pretty positive that is his name) welcomed me in with a smile and small talk, we both talked about having a pretty crummy night. Him, with his 2 cats being indecisive about being inside the room vs outside.. lol (I've got dogs, so I totally got that) but then came out about having to say goodbye to my brother in law, due to his sudden death. Both the gentlemen sitting at the desks, asked questions and gave their condolences and support. Tim even took care of my bill and gave me a hug! GOD BLESS YOU GUYS! There is a reason I didnt cancel this appointment! And that reason was the emotional support I recieved from a stranger!! Thank you for going above and beyond and making a difference in someone else's life. This was the most incredible uplifting beautiful experience I've ever had when going to get an oil change! I WILL BE A FOREVER CLIENT OF GATEWAY AUTOMOTIVE! THANKS AGAIN TIM!! YOU ARE AN INCREDIBLE PERSON AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SOUL!

I scheduled an appointment with them for a tune up and they told me if I dropped my car off Friday morning I could get it back Friday evening. As a mom of two kids, this was appealing because it wouldn't get in the way of childcare arrangements and driving to work. I called Friday about 45 minutes before they closed, and was told they were "about to call me" but they were having issues getting a part of my car to go back together so they would need it all weekend so they could fix it on Monday. Obviously, very frustrating to me but I worked around it and all was well. On Monday, I called to make sure it would be completed like I was told, and eventually it was, and they even gave me a 50 dollar discount due to the inconvenience. I paid over the phone so I could pick my car up that evening once I was off work. I pick up my car, and as I am driving home realize my car was making a weird noise. We popped the hood to see if we could figure out what was going on, and it turns out they had failed to refill my power steering fluid! I took my car in the next day and they went above my expectations for making it right! Tim loaned me his personal truck while they corrected their mistake and even let me use it after so I could take my personal belongings to storage! I will forever be grateful for how well they handled the situation.
