Took my Sierra in to have the front differential replaced. They were able to help source a replacement and have it installed and for better than any other shop could do and just in time for a road trip. The technicians are incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. Miracle does a great job communicating repair status and working with you to get you back in the road. Highly recommend

I'm now the proud owner of a "2007" Silverado HD 2500 Duramax 6.6 with an Allison 6 speed transmission that finally works right. It only took me 9 people to find the right shop that wasn't afraid to work on a used transmission with unavailable knowledge of it's history because it has aftermarket items hooked up to it. The Edge Juice and Lethal Injection. The first shop I took it two because of constant over temp issues told me I would need a new transmission. Actually he looked at me and said do you have $7,000.00 you need a transmission, the are unserviceable. He was great we ordered it and then ended up sending it back to Allison that was in Kingman, AZ. Final thought there was driver error. Then after arriving in Oak Harbor I was passing someone with that lethal injection and I felt a drastic power loss. So after talking to a couple of other transmission shops I found Gateway Automotive of Gig Harbor. Where I was able to describe my issues over the phone with a gentleman named Jim. He pretty much diagnosed the problem to a T. Then after the diagnostics in shop, gave me an estimate over the phone that I was able to sign for electronically. As I was stuck with my Toy Hauler over 5 miles away. Thanks for the rides Jim and Miracle. To and from my RV. I had to wait to get in as they were busy but it was only a few days. Compared to other shops that was fast.Then due to unforseen problems with prior commitments that they had with other vehicles and waiting over a weekend for a part, that is no longer available through Chevrolet (thanks for finding that Jim) my total down time was only 7 days. Both Jim and Miracle know what they are talking about. I do Highly recommend Gateway Automotive in Gig Harbor. And the estimate was higher than my final bill. I love it when it goes that way. So this place was wonderful! We called around for mechanic’s, and we decided on this one just based on the gracious and polite intake about the car. When we arrived a very lovely young woman at the counter, whose name is Miracle was very informative about what they would be doing to the car, the mechanic s and their experience. She paused to ask if we had any questions . In return answered each one honestly. There were no surprises. This made feel even better that we had chosen this shop. We waited for about three hours, but we’ll worth it, because in that time, the whole car was diagnosed, for problems that later down the road we need to have fixed, plus a full rear break job, new rotors, cylinders, and brake pads. Before we got the call it was finished, we got a very thorough detailed message about the fixes we would need besides the brake pads. This message included pictures and a graph that showed what was top to low priority. Very easy to read, and understand for us not knowing much about mechanics in the car. We walked out feeling just very happy and excited that we have a go to mechanic on Whidbey Island. We definitely will be regulars for any car troubles we have. Thank you to Miracle., and the great customer service, but also to the great mechanics. They did an excellent job on the car!

I was referred to Gateway months ago for transmission service on my 2014 GMC Sierra. They did a fantastic job and identified other maintenance items that should be addressed that I have had them work on. They give accurate estimates, timely repairs, and their customer service has always top notch for me. They are my go to shop going forward. Kudos to the Oak Harbor team, and Miracle who has been a great communicator. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend them.

I needed battery work done quickly and they responded with excellent service. I will definitely use them again.
