Mike, I'm shocked at your attitude. When you limped your van into our facility after literally having run it into the ground, we showed you the utmost hospitality. I notice that most of your other reviews are complaints about how businesses treated your pets, or were unwelcoming to you. We on the contrary made space for your malnourished and neglected dogs and cats and cared for them for the week that you were our guest. When it was determined that the repairs to your '99 Dodge Ram Van were more than you wanted to spend, you decided, against professional advise, to purchase another 20 year old clunker of a Dodge Van - sight unseen! You had it towed from 200 miles away and deposited in our parking lot. Only after you completed the purchase did you let us inspect it for you! How were you even surprised that it was in worse shape than your original van? Then, after we helped you get it running safely, all while you were our guest and observing every step of the process, as well as authorizing every bit of work that we did, you gathered your pets, drove away and tried to cancel payment on your credit card! Of course your bank saw right through your fraud, and so we come to the truth: You are the Real Thief, and honestly you should be ashamed of yourself.

Les, I’m sorry that your daughter’s car needed major transmission repair that neither of you could afford. I think that most reasonable people would not blame the repair shop for that outcome, but I understand that some people do need to lash out at a scapegoat.

Mark, thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience. I’m happy the you felt the staff were friendly and helpful. When I read your frustration with the price of a professional competent diagnosis and repair compared with the cost of a Do-It-Yourself project, I understand you. Unfortunately it’s an all-too-common perspective. I know that many people still do not respect the profession of mechanic, and subsequently feel that they do not deserve the salaries and benefits afforded other, similar professionals. I’m happy that once we successfully diagnosed your vehicle you had the time and ability to give it a happy ending.
